NEWS FLASH

This week both the Internal Revenue Service and the Oregon Department of Revenue changed the due date for timely filing your 2020 Federal form 1040 and Oregon form 40 Individual Tax returns.

The new due date allows an extra 32 days to file, and pay your 2020 individual tax returns.

The extra time is for 2020 individual returns only.

As of today, both the IRS and ODR have not changed the due date for any other tax filing.

The 2021 First quarter Estimated Tax payment is still due by April15th 2021.

There is no indication that the City of Portland, Multnomah County, or Tri-Met returns will have extra time to file.  We will update this information as it becomes available.
